Vehicle Registration & Titles
INITIAL VEHICLE REGISTRATION
We accept cash or checks and, as early March 2026, we now accept credit and debit cards for payment. However - please be aware that a 2.5% fee will be charged for all credit or debit card transactions.
Initial registration of vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers, recreational vehicles, etc.) can be completed during normal business hours at the town office. Appointments are recommended, but not required, and customers who have made an appointment will be given priority. Vehicle registration will not be started within less than 30 minutes of scheduled closing.
Please bring a copy of your current insurance card. If re-registering, please bring a copy of your old registration.
