Red Cross blood drive -- Oct 15

Oct 1 update:

The Red Cross Blood Drive at the Alna Fire Station on October 15th is rapidly approaching!

Sincere thanks to the 14 people who have already signed up but we still have a long way to go to meet the goal of 42 donors (and the Red Cross has already been after me to get the lead out, so to speak). Folks eligible for Power Red donations (see website for details) are especially needed!

Please consider donating between noon and 5 pm on October 15th and go to redcrossblood.org to register. If you have trouble with the website, contact me at bwhitney2287@gmail.com and I will take care of getting you signed up.

The Alna Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the AVFD meeting room from noon till 5:00 pm.

You can go to RedCrossBlood.org to sign up or, if the website gives you any trouble, just contact Beth Whitney (bwhitney2287@gmail.com) for assistance.

They have given us 10 Power Red slots to fill this year so, if you qualify for that, please sign up for it! (see website for details)
